We are a group of homeschoolers in the Castle Rock area of Douglas County, Colorado, who seek to meet regularly for encouragement, educational opportunities, fellowship and instruction.

Our Purpose:
  1. To Encourage
    • Impart vision that glorifies Jesus Christ
    • Fellowship for the homeschooling journey
    • Support for our members through prayer
  2. To Edify
    • Christ-centered
    • Not government-funded
    • Home based and parent directed, controlled, and taught
  3. To Equip
    • Monthly meetings for support and fellowship
    • Speakers to provide support and information for our success
    • Organized monthly field trips and activities
    • Co-ops for teaching specific subjects
    • Roster and monthly newsletters and calendars
  4. To Educate
    • Colorado Legislation and laws affecting homeschooling
    • State requirements for homeschooling
    • Home education conferences and available resources for teaching

What is Membership?

By becoming a member of HSOCR, you become an integral part of homeschool support in the Castle Rock area. Our memberships give our group the opportunity to provide great speakers for our monthly meetings, provide this website to the general public, as well as the following benefits.
