Have you just decided to begin your homeschooling journey? Maybe you are still unsure whether homeschooling is right for you. On this page you will find valuable information to help guide you on this new, life-changing journey.

The best place to start is to connect with other homeschool families and ask lots of questions! We invite you to come to our next monthly meeting to get to know us. Membership is not required to attend the meetings. Go to the “About Us” page for membership information. Look on the Schedule page for the next scheduled meeting, or contact our group leader.

Next, read all you can about homeschooling. There are so many great books available at book stores and at the library. Here are a few recommendations to get you started:

Next, make sure you are familiar with the Colorado Law regarding homeschooling and decide how you will operate your homeschool. Below are a couple of websites to help you in your decision making.

Finally, choose your curriculum. There is a vast array of choices available for curriculum. Start with recommendations from friends, and obtain catalogs via the internet and mail. Homeschooling magazines are also a good resource for information. A few of the popular magazines are listed below.
